The Wielder of In Órlasrach, the Spear of Night
Art is one of the two first bosses of the Baldesion Arsenal, alongside his brother, Owain. Art is found in the Orlasrach Containment Unit.
In battle, Art wields the spear of night, Orlasrach, and is elementally attuned to Earth.
Unlike his brother, he remains in this element for the entire duration of the fight.
Art is elementally weak to Water, as it erodes the Earth.
List of Abilities
- Legendcarver: Art creates a circular AoE underneath him that does heavy damage, and applies a stack of Mortality
- Legendspinner: Art creates a donut-shaped AoE underneath him that does heavy damage, and applies a stack of Mortality.
- Thricecull: Art strikes his current target thrice with Orlasrach, dealing heavy damage.
- Acallam na Senorach: Art twirls around, dealing moderate damage to everyone in the containment unit.
- Mythcall: Art calls down four spears at the cardinals or intercardinals of the containment unit. These spears will copy Art's previously-used Legend- ability
- Legendary Geas: Art will perform a short cast, turning the floor shadowy for a short period. During this, any movement will apply a stack of Heavy.
- Star-shaped line AoE: Does moderate damage to anyone hit. Will happen in conjunction with Legendary Geas.
- Pitfall: Art disappears and creates a proximity AoE marker somewhere on the ground. Art will reappear at this marker when it goes off.
- Betrayer's Desserts: A big AoE ball will pursue a singular player, repeatedly doing moderate damage in a large AoE nearing their position.
- Piercing Dark: Art applies a circular AoE on random players.
What to watch out for
Legendspinner & Legendcarver
Art is a very predictable fight, as you can reasonably expect what his next move will be. The only random parts of this fight are whether he'll use Legendcarver or Legendspinner as his first Legend- ability, as you can expect him to use the previously unused one next.
You can reliably expect that if Art does Legendspinner, the next time he'll do a Legend- ability, it will be Legendcarver, and vice versa. pi
Art will always call down a new set of spears with Mythcall just before doing a Legend- ability, and the spears will disappear after copying his Legend- ability.
Pitfall & Betrayer's Desserts
Very rarely nowadays, we get to see these two mechanics happen. What's important is that the person marked with Betrayer's Desserts chooses one direction to run in, away from the proximity AoE, and the rest of the expedition goes the other direction.

- Art's spear, Orlasrach, is also known as "The Gold-Flaming"
- Art shares his model with Connla, the add showing up during Scathach's encounter in Dun Scaith, further reinforcing his ties to Irish mythology and literature.
